When oil exceeds its working temperature it can become too thin to protect effectively. Two different widths are available 170mm and 240mm (this dimension refers to the matrix width, not overall width). The height of the cooler is measured in rows (this is the number of oilways including the top and bottom plate, more rows equates to more cooling).The coolers are supplied complete with male adapters unless the option of 'Without fittings' is selected in which case just the cooler with -10 JIC female ports will be supplied. We recommend mounting the coolers using rubber mounting bobbins which provide an ideal mounting solution as they isolate the cooler from vibration reducing the risk of failure through fatigue.
