Overview

Cinelli, inventor of the world's first modern bike tape Original Cork Ribbon, in the 1984, is proud to announce the launch of an entirely new cycling tape WAVE. The new tape, WAVE, represents a further evolution in the brand's historical approach to EVA-based bar tapes as well as a return to local, Italian manufacturing. The base of WAVE is the brand's signature EVA tape to which a new, proprietary, brushing technique has been applied. This technique, developed in conjunction with our local manufacturing partner, is inspired by the treatments applied to competition-use windsurf booms and allows Cinelli to enhance the grip and feel of the tape without impacting the durability of the product.
